I was surprised when she chose Stefan, but once I saw the way it all ended, it made perfect sense. Stefan is the boy that she loved as a teenage girl. When she has time to think about “always,” instead of “right now,” things will change.

Vampire Diaries finale - Spoilers!
I just need to get my thoughts out about The Vampire Diaries season finale. First of all - OMG! I totally called the ending.
My heart literally broke when Elena chose Stefan - but when she told Damon “maybe if I’d met you first” I was like oh goodness, she totally met him first. And when Damon realized that Alaric was dying - meaning that Elena was dying - his reaction was heartbreaking. “You can’t be dead” with his smoldering eyes… I just love Ian/Damon.
So now that Elena’s a vampire - crazy!! - she will remember how Damon compelled her to forget that she DID meet him first, her choice may change.
I am overwhelmed with emotion so I’m going to go cry now. Sorry for the craziness but I can’t handle life right now. What did you think of the finale?
